Unfortunately, in Greece we often see poor and unaesthetic results from older hair transplants that have left large, visible scars.
In such cases, it is possible to transplant follicular units directly into the scar.
However, at Anastasakis Hair Clinic, in most situations we can use other techniques to reduce the width of the scar without having to place grafts into it.
Follicular units inside scar tissue do not have ideal survival, which is why we avoid this method unless it is our very last option.
