Unfortunately, in Greece we often see poor and unaesthetic results from old hair transplants that have left large, unsightly scars.
In such cases, we can transplant hair follicles directly into the scar. However, in most situations at Anastasakis Hair Clinic, we can reduce the width of the scar using other techniques, without the need to place follicles in it.
Hair follicles transplanted into scar tissue usually do not have optimal survival, which is why we avoid this method — unless it is our very last option.
