The Medical Beauty Awards 2020 aim to recognize and celebrate innovation, safety, and excellence in the delivery of cosmetic medical services and medical technology advancements across the industry.
This year, dozens of entries were submitted and carefully reviewed by a judging panel chaired by Dr. Athanasios Exadaktylos, President of the Panhellenic Medical Association. Each nomination was evaluated through a strict and transparent online process, using both qualitative and quantitative criteria, ensuring that only the most distinguished players in each category were recognized.
In light of the current health and safety regulations, and in accordance with official guidelines, the award ceremonies were held individually for each winner to ensure maximum safety.

he primary challenge was to transform the space into a clinic that, at first glance, would inspire trust and a sense of safety, without unnecessary elements of showmanship. To achieve this, the team at Anastasakis Hair Clinic turned to Innovo Constructions, the leading company in medical space renovation and construction.
With the expertise of Innovo Constructions, a large team of architects, engineers, and interior design specialists developed the concept and layout of a modern, high-aesthetics clinic that inspires both staff and patients.
The overall result—both in terms of facilities and services—was of such high standards that it was recognized by the judging panel of the Medical Beauty Awards 2020, earning one Gold and one Silver Award.
Enhancing the Patient Experience: The Most Important Aspect of Any Medical Facility
Maximizing natural light and utilizing high-quality materials were the two key principles guiding the design of our new spaces. Our architectural team transformed the patient waiting area by incorporating alternative materials that create a minimalist yet warm and welcoming atmosphere.
As for the office area, which is directly connected to the waiting room, frosted glass partitions with metal accents were chosen. This design ensures privacy for the office space while allowing natural light to flow seamlessly from the waiting area into the offices.
State-of-the-Art Surgical Suites
Anastasakis Hair Clinic has invested in the creation of two state-of-the-art surgical suites dedicated exclusively to hair transplantation procedures.
The two main surgical rooms were designed with:
- Specialized non-slip, high-durability surgical flooring
- Surgical cabinets finished with satin white lacquer and equipped with touch-to-open internal mechanisms
- Surgical countertops coated with high-strength white bakelite
- Fixed multi-LED surgical lights designed to emit zero heat, ensuring hair follicles remain hydrated and unharmed
It is important to note that all materials selected for outfitting the surgical suites are highly durable, fire-resistant, and shatterproof. Additionally, all surfaces feature rounded edges with perimeter coverings to guarantee complete sterilization and safety.
Safety and Comfort for the Patient at Every Stage of the Hair Transplant Process
Natural light flows throughout the surgical suites, while specially designed glass panels allow patients to enjoy the outside view without compromising their privacy, ensuring no one can see inside from the outside.
The surgical rooms feature soft color tones that evoke a sense of calm and security. Delicate hues of hyacinth blue and mint green gently color the walls, subtly shifting shades with the changing natural light. Coordinated shades continue onto the surgical flooring, while work seating incorporates colors beyond classic white, including dianthus pink, violet, glaucous, and aqua. These carefully chosen, understated color accents lend the space a modern character and foster a welcoming environment for both staff and patients.
Equal attention has been given to the patient relaxation area. Here, patients can dine comfortably in a spacious dining room while enjoying views of the urban landscape. The lighting design in this area offers adjustable options for cool or warm lighting, adaptable to the season and time of day.
