Is the FUE technique really without scars and stitches as advertised?

In the FUE technique, hair follicles are extracted one by one from the donor area. However, at each spot where a follicle is removed, a tiny scar remains. So, even with the FUE technique, a scar is left—it’s just small and not easily visible to the naked eye. In reality, the FUE technique is not a scar-free method but rather a scar-dispersing method, and in fact, the total amount of scarring left in the donor area is much greater than with the strip technique. Nevertheless, many patients prefer it, and in many cases, I also recommend it as a surgeon because it better suits the patient’s needs.
